SmartBCalendar - Frequently Asked Questions (FAQ)

Q: How to start SmartBCalendar?
A: SmartBCalendar starts automatically few seconds after installation.

Q: After installation of SmartBCalendar the Home Screen calendar icon does not indicate current date, it still shows 31?
A: (OS4.7 - 6.0) Please do a manual battery pull, this should fix the issue.
A: (OS4.2.1 - 4.6) SmartBCalendar doesn't replace the calendar icon, it is installed in your Downloads folder. You can move SmartBCalendar to your Home Screen using following approach:
- Locate SmartBCalendar in your "Downloads" folder, press Menu button and choose "Move To Folder" option, and select "Home screen".

Q: (OS4.2.1 - 4.6) How can the original calendar icon be removed?
A: You have several options to remove the calendar icon:
- Select Calendar icon, press Menu button and choose Hide. The icon will disappear, you can bring it back by choosing Menu - Show All
- Select Calendar icon, press Menu button and choose Move. This way you can move it to whatever position on the HomeScreen you choose.

Q: (OS4.2.1 - 4.6) SmartBCalendar is in the Download application folder. Is there a way for it to be displayed on Home Screen?
A: Locate SmartBCalendar in your "Downloads" folder, press Menu button and choose "Move To Folder" option, and select "Home screen".

Q: When is the current date (shown on SmartBCalendar icon) updated?
A: SmartBCalendar updates current date at midnight, on device startup or when you click the icon.

Q: I cannot see the day of the week as application title?
A: If your device is a non touch-screen phone SmartBCalendar shows the day of the week when icon is focused. 

Q: Current date is not updated at midnight?
A: If you have changed your device time settings after SmartBCalendar installation, please restart your device (soft or hard reset). 

Q: The application icon is not updated automatically?
A: Due to OS limitation, when using Zen-theme in some OS versions, the icon won't be automatically updated until focused.
